Student Had Scheduled Flight on Doomed Plane

Ted Nulty, a member of the Golden State Flying Club, had scheduled his own flight on an aircraft that crashed in Santee on Sept. 3, 2015. The crash killed Nulty’s friend, flight instructor Robert Sarrisin, and fellow flying club student Jeffrey Johnson. NBC 7’s Vanessa Herrera speaks with Nulty about the shocking accident.
