Tutu Run Held in Response to Magazine

Dozens of San Diegans gathered at Torrey Pines for a “Tutu Run” in response to a flub by SELF magazine, which made fun of the tutu trend. The magazine published a photo of a San Diego woman running a marathon in a tutu, mocking her style choice. Turns out, she’s a cancer survivor and makes the tutus in her spare time, donating the money to charity. NBC 7’s Diana Guevara reports.
