When it comes to environmentalism, the thinking goes that before you can make a difference in the world, you first have to make a difference in your world. In other words, start local, grow global. Pro surfer and San Diego resident Rob Machado is doing just that with his causes. NBC 7’s Dagmar Midcap recently visited with Machado and has more on how he’s helping to keep our beaches clean.
