School District's Decision to Expel Student Reviewed

The County Board of Education voted 3-2 to uphold the San Ysidro School District’s decision to expel a student who brought a gun to school. Officials confirmed the district knew the boy might bring the firearm onto campus, but failed to notify his parents. County officials are now asking the school district to reconsider their procedures on how they handle these types of situations. NBC 7’s Candice Nguyen reports.
