Saluting the Late Civil Rights Activist and Navy Veteran Cesar Chavez

The newest vessel of the Navy will be named after World War II veteran, Chavez. The ship will be christened USNS Cesar Chavez and be assigned to Military Sealift Command. A dedication ceremony will held today at the NASSCO shipyard.
