Salute – High School Teacher Finds Purple Heart

Robert Bates’ Purple Heart medal was found on the roadside outside of a VFW post in Bakersfield, Ca. Ken Hooper and his High School class were enlisted by the Post to find who it belonged to. Their search lead them to Robert Bates’ niece in East Texas.
