East County Man Sentenced in Murder of His Wife on New Year's Day

Friends and family said in court that after years of abuse, an East County man’s wife had finally worked up the courage to leave him. That’s when he shot her. Hauati “Howard” Fa’anunu was sentenced Wednesday. NBC 7’s Rory Devine has the story.
