2017 Politically Speaking: Measure A Numbers

Measure A, the measure to benefit local transportation projects, failed for lack of a two-thirds voter majority. It was promoted by the San Diego Assn. of Governments (SANDAG) which, because of schedule conflicts and a misunderstanding, couldn’t provide a representative to join last week’s discussion with a reporter for our media partner Voice of San Diego and state Assembly Member Lorena Gonzales Fletcher, who focused on the serious question raised about SANDAG’s handling of the issues. This week, Del Mar Mayor Terry Sinnott, SANDAG’s vice chairman, one of three board members who worked with attorneys from a Newport Beach law firm that investigated what happened, stops by NBC 7’s Politically Speaking to discuss.
