National City Mulls Ballot Measure on Rent Increases

In National City, a coalition of community organizations are trying to get enough signatures to have affordable housing initiatives put on the ballot this November. NBC 7’s Alex Presha reports. The goal is to limit annual rent increases to 5 percent and to have landlords give just cause for eviction. Currently, National City has no local ordinances for evictions or rent increases
