Morning Salute – U.S. Military Personnel and their South Korean Counterparts

This morning we salute the U.S. Military Personnel and their South Korean Counterparts who’ve been working to enhance the alliance between the two countries. Last week at a remote base in Afghanistan they conducted live fire training exercises together. It included aerial assaults, mortar fire and truck-mounted 50 caliber fire exercises. The coordinated efforts are designed to strengthen the mission in Afghanistan and to build on an alliance that dates back to the 1950’s.
