Mercado Not Mentally Fit to Stand Trial

On Monday, a judge found 29-year-old Carlo Mercado not competent to stand trial. Mercado is accused of killing Sal Belvedere, Gianni Belvedere and Ilona Flint in connection to a Mission Valley mall shooting last Christmas Eve. NBC 7’s Matt Rascon explains what this means for the case.
