When 37-year-old David Amaya crossed the border from Mexico to San Diego, he had no idea he had a long-lost family waiting for him in the U.S. Amaya, who was taken from Chicago more than 30 years ago, said he was told his mother had abandoned him. NBC 7’s Candice Nguyen has more.
