Gala to Benefit Victims of Domestic Violence

Four years ago, Kathy Scharbarth was stalked and killed by her ex-boyfriend. In her honor, Kathy’s Legacy Foundation was formed to help other victims of domestic violence. On Oct. 3, 2015, the foundation will host a gala in hopes of raising at least $75,000 to help fund several programs that will benefit victims. NBC 7’s Whitney Southwick gets details from Kathy’s mother, Ginny Scharbarth, and Lynn Stuart, both of Kathy’s Legacy Foundation.
