Georginn Law Ordered to Repay Former Clients

More than 100 local families who claim they were cheated by a “credit repair” company should get at least some of their money back. NBC 7 Investigates broke this story last summer when the firm “Georggin Law” promised to “fix” bad credit ratings. One of the people behind the firm later admitted he’s not really an attorney and pleaded guilty to federal charges. Now a judge has said he will order that defendant to pay at least $200,000 to former clients. NBC 7 Investigates reporter Dave Summer shares the story.
