Downtown Retailers Close During Blackout Black Friday

On Friday night, a group of protesters walked from the convention center to Westfield Horton Plaza as part of “Blackout Black Friday,” a different kind of protest against a Ferguson grand jury’s decision not to indict a police officer who killed an unarmed black teen. As NBC 7’s Rory Devine reports, the protest prompted some stores and kiosks to close.
