Don Diego Clock Tower Saved and Relocated

The iconic Don Diego Clock Tower at the Del Mar Fairgrounds was set to be demolished. However, the 22nd District Agricultural Association was able to save and preserve the tower, and relocate it to another spot at the fairgrounds. Its new location — the O’Brien Gate entrance — was unveiled on March 14.
