Vote to Decide Future of Desalination Plant

A huge vote taking place Thursday at the County Water Authority will determine the future of a Carlsbad Desalination plant. The proposal would turn 50 million gallons of ocean water into fresh water daily, accounting for 7 percent of our region’s water supply. NBC 7’s Steven Luke reports.
