1978 Murder Weighs Heavy on Survivor

In 1978, San Diego teenager Barbara Nantais was violently attacked and killed by an unknown suspect. Her boyfriend at the time, James Alt, was also severely injured in the ambush, but survived. Nearly four decades later, the cold case remains unsolved and continues to weigh heavily on Alt, who wants detectives to hand over the case to another law enforcement agency. NBC 7’s Dave Summers reports on July 31, 2015.
