Chula Vista Fire Stations Need Repairs

Asbestos, termites, rotting and leaking roofs may sound like issues in abandoned buildings but it’s reality at several fire stations in Chula Vista. As the city continues to grow, funding for the fire department hasn’t. NBC 7’s Ashley Matthews spoke to firefighters who say the aging buildings are just one of the many challenges the department is facing.
