US Coast Guard Offloads 7.1 Tons of Smuggled Cocaine in San Diego

From February to late March 2019, the U.S. Coast Guard seized more than 14,300 pounds of cocaine in international waters off the Eastern Pacific Ocean. On Friday, USCG officials offloaded the drugs in San Diego, and talked about the agency’s ongoing counter-smuggling efforts. NBC 7’s Liberty Zabala reports.
