Canine Companions Give Owners Independence

The group Canine Companions for Independence trains assistance dogs for children, adults and veterans with disabilities. From turning on lights to even putting on socks, these dogs help their owners be independent. NBC 7’s Greg Bledsoe and Megan Tevrizian have details on the training process these dogs go through and a fundraiser coming up Nov. 22 at Liberty Station.
