“Pedestrians Don't Have Armor” Signs Around San Diego

A new safety message, “Be Alert Pedestrians Don’t Have Armor” appeared on many San Diego freeways and highways. The digital message is part of a safety campaign from the California Department of Transportation, the state Office of Traffic Safety and the California Highway Patrol. The goal is to stop the recent increase in pedestrian fatalities on California roadways.
