Congressmen Issa and Vargas Meet with Officials to Discuss Tijuana Sewage Spill

Sen. Darrell Issa (R-49th District) told NBC 7’s Artie Ojeda that he supports spending taxpayer dollars to provide Mexican officials with technical expertise regarding the construction of a first-world sewage system. Meanwhile Sen. Juan Vargas (D-51st District) critiqued President Trump’s border wall plan and said that funds could be better spent treating the sewage in the area.
