All-Female Volunteer Group Installs Solar Panels for Local Family

A team of all-female volunteers from Grid Alternatives installed solar panels Tuesday on a San Diego family’s home. The project is one of dozens of free solar installations Grid Alternatives will do this year to help local families in need. NBC 7’s Audra Stafford reports.
