Ross Named to All-Star Team

Padres starting pitcher Tyson Ross will represent the Padres at the 2014 All Star Game. Ross, 27, has a 7-8 record with a 2.93 earned run average and 111 strikeouts. This is his first All-Star selection. Ross is the 16th different Padres pitcher to earn a spot in the Midsummer Classic. The All-Star game is Tuesday, July 15 at Target Field in Minnesota.
