New Del Mar Arena Opens

The Del Mar Fairgrounds dedicated their new Arena under a 76,267 square-foot roof. This exciting renovation allows the Del Mar Arena to be utilized as a year-round, multi-use facility. It will provide for an opportunity to schedule events during winter months, generating more business, more variety in event options, and most importantly, more revenue for the City of Del Mar. The first event in the new Arena is the world-renowned Del Mar National Horse Show which kicked off on April 16th and runs for three weeks.
