White House: Trump's ‘Coronavirus Test Slowdown' Comments Were Tongue-in-Cheek

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany denied that President Trump officially ordered a slowdown of coronavirus testing in response to the president saying at Saturday’s campaign rally that “When you do testing to that extent, you’re going to find more people, you’re going to find more cases, so I said to my people, ‘Slow the testing down, please.'”
