White House Defends Trump's Conspiracy Theory Tweet on Injured Protester

During a press conference Wednesday, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany defended a tweet from President Donald Trump in which the president repeated a bogus, right-wing conspiracy theory that Martin Gugino was an “ANTIFA provocateur.” Gugino, a 75-year-old protester, has been in a serious but stable condition after being pushed to the pavement by police in Buffalo, New York, last week.
