Boy Is Bitten By Shark, Pulled From Surf by Nearby Swimmer

A 13-year-old is recovering after a five-to-six-foot shark bit him on a Florida beach on Sunday. Police say the boy was swimming in 2 feet of water off Neptune Beach at the time. He was quickly brought to shore by another swimmer and tended to until emergency personnel arrived. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening lacerations to his calf and shin.
