In 2014 Speech, Obama Defers Deportation of ‘Dreamers'

This 2014 footage shows former President Barack Obama announce a policy to defer deportation for “Dreamers,” undocumented children who have lived in the country for at least five years, as well as their parents. He called it a temporary measure, saying Congress must pass the DREAM Act to make it permanent.
