Whales Spotted Just Off Shore in Newport Beach

Two gray whales were spotted swimming in about 8 feet of water just off the shore of Newport Beach on Monday. According to Mark Girardeau of Newport Coastal Adventure, who captured the footage with a drone, April and May are the months when many northbound gray whales are seen near the coast.
