At Least 17 Well-Preserved Mummies Discovered in Egypt

Egypt’s Ministry of Antiquities said Saturday it has found an ancient burial site with at least 17 well-preserved mummies near the city of Minya. “It’s the first human necropolis to be found here in Tuna al-Gabal,” Antiquities Minister Khaled al-Anani told reporters at the site.
