Democrats Flip House as Republicans Retain Senate

High voter turnout may have helped build a “blue wave” of sorts for Democrats, but not quite the tsunami for which they had hoped, in Tuesday’s midterm elections. Republicans are still in charge of the Senate, but Democrats did take control of the House.
