Connecticut Approves Gay Marriage

The final seal of approval came from a Superior Court Judge in New Haven who held a quick hearing Wednesday morning and decided that gay and lesbian couples can pick up marriage license forms at town and city clerks’ offices statewide. And with that, marriage-minded activists marched from the Elm Street Courthouse to New Haven City Hall to apply for licenses. Some got married immediately afterward.
