We Salute Master Sergeant David Jarvis

Jarvis will be awarded the militarys third- highest award for valor in combat recieving the silver star today in a special ceremony for saving the life of a critically wounded marine in Afghanistan- by fending off a group of Taliban fighters, so a medical helicopter could land and safely evacuate the injured marine.
