7-Foot Waves a Surfer's Paradise in San Diego

National Weather Service warns of rip currents

On top of the perfect, summer-like weather in San Diego Wednesday afternoon, beaches are also serving up a slice of paradise.

Waves could hit up to seven feet, with the average floating between four and six feet.

A High Surf Advisory is in effect for San Diego, according to National Weather Service.

NWS warns there will be dangerous rip currents on Wednesday.

That won’t be the end of big surf for San Diegans – NWS also stated another round of waves is expected for Thursday to Saturday. But this second swell is likely to be much larger.
