Sweetwater Valley Little League Coach Ward Lannom talks with reporters after the loss Thursday night and addresses some allegations of unsportsmanlike conduct during the game.
Anyone watching the Little League World Series semifinals Thursday night found it almost impossible to look away.
The team from Pearland, Texas rallied a couple times then beat Sweetwater Valley Little League 9-7 in eight innings.
San Diegans went to social media to applaud the Boys from Bonita for the wild ride we’ve all enjoyed over the last few weeks.
However, there were some who accused the team from California of dirty play – specifically two run-ins at first base.
After the game, the SVLL Coach Ward Lannom addressed the controversy.
