A suspected DUI driver crashed into a San Diego police patrol vehicle early this morning in the College area, while officers were pulled over on the side of the highway.
It happened along the eastbound lanes of Interstate-8 just west of College Avenue, Friday at 1:35 a.m.
Officers were taking into custody someone suspected in a domestic violence case in Pacific Beach.
No one was hurt.
Police arrested the driver and domestic violence suspect.
The crash shut down several lanes of eastbound I-8. The lanes have opened.
