A 6-month-old baby reported to not be breathing died Friday night in Clairemont after being taken to the hospital, police said.
The report was made around 5:33 p.m. on the 6600 block Beadnell Way just off Balboa Avenue.
The baby later died in the hospital, according to San Diego police.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death.
