A&D GC Inc. of Santee is one of five small businesses that will be able to compete for $240 million worth of task orders from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers over the next five years, the Army recently announced.
Task orders will be issued for design/build, construction and incidental service projects.
Thirty-seven businesses competed to get on the short list for such work in the Corps of Engineers’ Great Lakes and Ohio River Division.
A&D was the only West Coast business selected; the other small businesses in line for the work are from Florida, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Louisville District in Louisville, Ky. awarded the deal.
