Saluting the Men and Women of the USS Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group

The ARG deployed yesterday morning from Naval Base San Diego to the Eastern Pacific. Over the next few months the group, which consists of USS Makin, USS Pearl Harbor and USS New Orleans, will work together on a variety of missions from humanitarian assistance to high end combat operations.
