Witnesses Report Explosion in Normal Heights Home

Firefighters battled a house fire on 35th Street at Monroe Avenue Sunday afternoon, July 21, 2013. Firefighters say neighbors reported an explosion and fire. The San Diego chapter of the American Red Cross is helping the 8 people in the house find a place to sleep tonight. The cause is under investigation. No one was injured.
