New Punishments Cleared for Takeoff

New government regulation, which went into effect Tuesday, could help put airline customer service and transparency on cruise control. Additional rules, such as requiring taxes to be included in advertised fares and notifying passengers of cancellations and any delay of 30 or more minutes, will come into effect Jan. 24.
