African-American Major General Takes Marine Command

Major General Ronald L. Bailey was the first African American to take command of the 1st Marine Division in the U-S. A special event held onboard the USS Midway Museum marked the general’s accomplishments, but the bigger goal was to increase diversity efforts throughout San Diego.
