Teen Shot, Killed by Police Called for Help: Capt.

SDPD acting homicide Capt. Mike Holden said a 15-year-old boy who was shot and killed by police officers in the parking lot of Torrey Pines High School had called police asking for a welfare check on a minor – himself. Holden said the teen spoke in the third person and asked officers to check on a minor in the parking lot of the school.
