Marine Fights to Survive After Crash

A local Marine is in critical condition with head injuries following a motorcycle accident on July 31, 2011. Gunnery Sergeant dave Smith was riding his bike in Rancho Bernardo when a suspected drunk driver struck him from behind. Tony Shin talks about the 34-year-old decorated Marine with the man’s fiancee Vanessa Potts.
