A man trying to catch a Greyhound bus leaving a South Bay bus station was run over and killed on Thursday night.
According to police, the man was trying to catch a bus near the San Ysidro border crossing at about 10 p.m. when he was caught and pulled under the bus.
Officials have not yet released the man's name pending notification of his family. Investigators did say they believed the victim to be roughly 50 years old.
