Man Jumps Into Water to Save Dog in Santee Creek

A man jumped into the water to save his dog who fell into a creek in Santee, according to Heartland Fire officials.

The incident was reported around 3:50 p.m. in the Mission Trails Regional Park on the 10,600 block of Father Junipero Serra Trail. 

Officials said the man and his dog were able to get themselves out of the water.

No other information was immediately available.
