Local Business Leaders to Discuss Gas Tax Hike

As NBC 7’s Liberty Zabala reports, former Councilmember Carl Demaio is leading a forum at the North San Diego Business Chamber to find out how residents will be affected by a proposed gas tax hike of 12 cents more a gallon. There would also be an increase in car registration and other fees. But supporters argue that money will go towards improving our roads, bridges and freeways. Still other say that’s a price they are not willing to pay.
