An 8-year-old child was injured when a car crashed into a Panda Express in San Diego's Clairemont neighborhood.
The crash happened at approximately 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 9200 block of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, when police responded to a call of a car into a building.
The driver, initially reported by police as a juvenile, suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision, police said.
The cause of the crash is unclear, police said.
The incident is under investigation.
